illaDaProducer SeptemFurther, we have learned that the singer behind what we thought was the sample, "Wanderers" is Luschka, not Lisa Gomamoto as previously reported. There's a familiar sample on Eminem's new album, and it's left a lot of people confused about where it came from. This tricky tale was first kicked off by producer IllaDaProducer in an interview with Rolling Stone about his work on Eminem's new album, Kamikaze. When asked about the chopped-up sample on track 12, 'Good Guy' (listen to a clip below), IllaDaProducer said: "That's me doing my video game thing. It's a Japanese video game, and that's the theme song from it. Shout out Japanese video games and Japanimation for inspiration." It's one of the dopest melodies I've ever heard. The producer doesn't state which Kingdom Hearts track he used, but Genius (as reported by Kotaku) originally listed Utada Hiraku's 'Simple & Clean', which appeared in the original Kingdom Hearts, as the sample. Thing is, there's debate over whether that's the case. For a start, the track's credits on Spotify list "Jessie Reyez, L. Yamada" - none of whom were involved in 'Simple & Clean'.įans of Tokyo Ghoul then started speculating that the sample comes from 'Glassy Sky', a song used in the anime. You can hear the similarity, and Genius currently lists that song as the source. The much-anticipated second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re just began airing on October 10 and we finally got to hear the ending theme song by Japanese music artist österreich. The artist also wrote, composed and came up with the lyrics for the Tokyo Ghoul √A opening theme song Munou in which Ai Kamano provided the vocals. For the new ending theme song, Mizuki Iida (cinema staff) features as the vocalist. The song also includes Daigo Yamaguchi from People In The Box on the drums, who also performed drums on the Tokyo Ghoul season one ending theme song Seijatachi. This makes for a perfect line-up for the ‘final chapter’ of the Tokyo Ghoul series. I particularly liked the song ‘Nigatsu no Heitai.’ It was all I listened to when I was drawing volume 7.Ĭheck out the author’s comments below on the new song. I thought if ever became an anime I wanted to get ‘the cabs’ to write music for it.Īround the time when I finished illustrating volume 7, ‘the cabs’ disbanded.Īfter some ups and downs, Kunimitsu Takahashi wrote the song Munou. That’s how we gradually came to talk together. I told him, “It’s my dream for cabs to write music for it one day, even if it’s just one song.” I sometimes spoke about ‘the cabs’ with him too. In the end a bunch of things happened between us and in the outside world, so my wish didn’t come true, but I think I’m glad it didn’t. #Tokyo ghoul theme song 1 hour original download#.The album's third single "Back to Sleep" peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
